"I’m so excited to pull on the West Ham shirt, and play at the London Stadium in the Premier League. " Born on 30 December 1999 in French Guiana, the highly rated defender is considered to be coming into his prime after a stellar season in Ligue 1 for Nice. Todibo joined Nice, initially on loan, from La Liga giants Barcelona in 2021 before the move was made permanent later that year. Last year Todibo was rewarded for his form with a call-up by Didier Deschamps to the France squad, where he played twice, making his competitive debut in their record 14–0 win over Gibraltar in November. It’s been a busy close-season, with West Ham one of the Premier League’s most active clubs. Last week, Niclas Fullkrug arrived on a four-year deal from Borussia Dortmund, along with Argentinian World Cup-winning defensive midfielder Guido Rodriguez. Adrian Clarke explains why new signings Fullkrug and Summerville can thrive under Lopetegui Earlier in the transfer window, former Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Max Kilman joined, with exciting Dutch forward Crysencio Summerville adding pace and power after agreeing a move from Leeds United. Former Sheffield United goalkeeper Wes Foderingham and Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme also came on board earlier this summer.
