The Hammers are keen on signing a centre forward in the ongoing window and Ajax’s Brobbey is a player they have been working to bring in. West Ham United’s Premier League rivals Tottenham, who are light in the centre forward department with Dominic Solanke’s injury and Timo Werner being linked with an MLS move, are also monitoring Brobbey’s situation. The Hammers have offered to take the 22-year-old on loan with an obligation to buy him in the summer. It is suggested that Ajax have demanded a fee in the region of €35m including the bonuses for Brobbey. West Ham deem the Dutch giants’ valuation of Tottenham target Brobbey too high at the moment. Graham Potter’s side are also considering RB Leipzig’s Andre Silva and Brighton Hove & Albion’s Evan Ferguson as options.
